UK Models understand that your personal information is exactly that personal. So we have created privacy policy to ensure that any information you share with us via this site is used and managed purely to provide you a service to meet you’re requested needs.
If you choose to register with our site then you will see that we only seek personal data that is reasonable and necessary for the purposes of fulfilling your needs for applying and understanding your personal preferences. We follow strict guidelines in terms of how this information is stored and disclosed to prevent any unauthorized assess by third parties.  This means that sometimes we may ask you for proof of identity before disclosing any personal information to you.
Although we only ask for reasonable personal information data this data is your ‘Sensitive Personal Data’ described under the Data Protection Act of 1998. What information do You hold about Me?
We collect three categories of Personal Information about You; Identifiable Information, Anonymous Information and Lifestyle Information. ‘Identifiable Information’ means any information about You from which You can be personally identified, common examples include (but are not limited to); Your name, address, date of birth, telephone numbers, and email addresses. ‘Anonymous Information’ means information that does not identify You personally but categorises You into certain groups or sectors. Where is Your Personal Information held?
The Personal Information We collect will be held by Us on Our database which is owned and controlled by our nominated bureau. The database is held on secure servers based in the United Kingdom. Our nominated bureau use a variety of physical and network security technologies and procedures to help protect Your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. They also operate stringent people processes which means that only a limited number of people in their organization have access to the information contained in the database. They have established procedures to cope with events that happen that are beyond Our control.
How do We collect Your Personal information?
We collect Personal Information about You in several ways and can include the following:
when You enter one of Our competitions;
when You complete one of Our lifestyle questionnaires.
When You are entering Personal Information onto Our website it is not until You click the submit button that Your Personal Information is transferred to Us. Unfortunately the internet is not a 100% secure medium and We cannot guarantee or accept any liability for any loss or damages in relation to information that You submit that is lost in transit. We also licence Personal Information from other third parties. We call these third parties Data Contributors. Your Personal Information may be collected by Data Contributors if You have submitted information to a website, (for example when requesting a car insurance quotation), completed a telephone survey or lifestyle questionnaire or when buying goods and services from third parties. Regardless of the way Your Personal Information is collected Our Data Contributors warrant to Us that You have consented to Your Personal Information being passed to Us. We call this permission Opt-In. We only ever work with Data Contributors that operate within UK Data Protection Law and are registered with the ICO.

Who do We share Your Personal Information with?
Data, like many other products and services can be sold or licensed. When We license data to third parties We call them Clients. We work hard to ensure that We only deal with reputable Clients who like Us operate in accordance with UK Data Protection Law. We enforce this through Our contractual relationships with Our Clients in which they undertake to operate in accordance with the UK Data Protection Law and continue to enforce the rights You have. More information about those rights is set out in this Privacy Notice. Sometimes Our Clients operate in countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) who operate under different data protection laws. Where this happens We enforce additional contractual provisions to ensure provide an adequate level of protection as required by UK Data Protection Law.
When We are running a specific campaign for a sponsor on Our Website We may also share the information You have submitted with the Sponsor. The Sponsor may then contact You by post, telephone, e-mail or short text message with information about products and services that they think You might be interested in. It is important that You realise that the Sponsor may then also hold Personal Information about You. We therefore recommend that You read the privacy policy on the sponsor Website carefully. You can contact the sponsor at any time if You change Your mind about being contacted by them. Finally We may use, or Our Clients and Sponsors may use, Your information for the purposes of debt collection and tracing services.

What if I don’t want to receive any more information from You?
You can opt out anytime from Us holding Your Personal Information on Our database by unsubscribing here. We call this process suppression. This is standard marketing industry practice approved by the ICO and means that just enough information about You is retained to ensure that Your wishes are respected. Suppressing, rather than deleting, Your details has the objective of preventing Your records being reintroduced into Our database in the future. Following suppression of Your details, marketing communications should stop within a maximum period of twenty eight days for electronic communications and two months for postal communications.

The following terms apply when contributing content to any of our websites directly or via the use of social media channels (e.g: Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest or Facebook)

1. What we will do for you
Your privacy: We recognise the importance of privacy, so if you are sharing any of your images via social media (Specially via hashtags) or by sending us directly you must understand that your details will be public. If you want to participate however wish to keep your real identity private please use a pseudonym and we will keep your true identity secret unless we are legally obliged to reveal it.
We may edit or delete the content you provide at any time at our sole discretion, although we have no obligation to review the information you provide.
We have the right to refuse any image submitted to us and have the right to not to display them on our website. We are under no obligation to show the images submitted by users. We have the right to pick and choose the images as we may seem fit.
2. What you should do for us
Please behave responsibly when adding content to our websites/social media channels. By using any of our services, you agree to the following.
You will not use our websites/social media pages in any way that is:
illegal or unlawful, or likely to encourage illegal or unlawful behaviour;
likely to damage the reputation of Which?;
likely to be a nuisance, harmful or deceptive to any other person.
Any content you add to the website/social media pages will:
be factually accurate and/or be your genuinely held belief or opinion that is based on facts;
not be defamatory, obscene or offensive;
not infringe the copyright, trade marks or any other intellectual property rights of another person;
not promote your own or your employer’s business, or otherwise include any advertising or promotional material.
You will not try to access any confidential information (including usernames and passwords) of any other person.
You must be over 18 years old or otherwise have the express permission of your parent or guardian to share the images with us. We do not take responsibility if you fail to do so.
If you share images of your children, please understand the aspects of online safety. We will do our best to protect the images but make sure you clearly understand the potential risks of using the internet.
Please tell us as soon as you can if you think someone is mis-using any of the shared images.
3. Other important things you need to know
You take full responsibility for the content you add to our websites/social media channels which means that if you provide content in breach of these terms, you may be required to compensate anyone who suffers as a result.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use the content you add to our websites/social media channels. For example, we may use this information in any of the Which? landing pages or for our campaigning purposes or marketing materials.
What happens if you don’t comply with these terms? We will treat any non-compliance as a serious issue, and if we think you have breached any of these terms, we may take any action that we consider appropriate. This may include:
the temporary or permanent suspension of your access to our websites/social media channels.
taking legal action against you, possibly to recover any financial loss that we have suffered as a result of your actions; or
